Smarter, organized workflow

Manual tracking of cut glass through the production line is now a thing of the past. Intermac Cut Up M 0 can automatically apply labels before scoring to identify each cut piece, eliminating the risk of operator errors associated with manual labeling. These customizable labels can include information such as part size, shape, and even barcodes, which allow piece tracking during production stages. The automatic labeling system can also be used alongside the TCR unit, a combination typically reserved for high-end machines.

Coating Cleared, Scoring Ready

The machine is equipped with a tangential wheel for Low-E coating removal, mounted on a rotating axis to handle both straight and shaped paths. A high-efficiency dust collection system and optimized hood positioning enable fast, thorough coating removal, even on EasyPro or TPF glass, where finer dust and higher material volumes can be challenging to manage. This setup delivers a perfectly clean result without manual intervention, leaving the glass ready for scoring.

Unprecedented processing speed and precision are achieved through a robust frame and a reliable transmission system, engineered to maximize machine performance. With double linear guides, a rack-and-pinion system, and a powerful rotational axis, the cutting head offers maximum dynamics and reliability, even under heavy workloads, making it ideal for flexible, high-demand production.

The right tool for the best quality

Equipped with a 6-position magazine and tool changer, the machine allows the processing of various glass types with the appropriate cutting wheel, automatically recalling the proper cutting parameters for each material. This enables continuous cutting of straight and curved shapes across different glass thicknesses, eliminating the need for manual intervention and ensuring seamless operation.

One machine, multiple processes

This model provides extensive processing capabilities, including various types of materials like low-e and laminated glass as well as ceramic slabs.
The machine is also capable of scoring vinyl films applied to the glass surface for the subsequent peeling of the exceeding portion followed by the sandblasting operation.
This versatility is enhanced by specialized features, unlocking a wide range of applications and making it an all-in-one solution for diverse manufacturing needs.

Computer vision

The optical reading system offers multiple functions to assist operators in utilizing the machine effectively: With the squaring function, the machine automatically conducts a reading cycle and adjusts the programmed toolpath to the actual glass position, eliminating the need for operators to align the glass against mechanical stops, thus reducing manual tasks. The template reading function enables operators to place a physical template on the machine and digitize its shape using three different methods, including holes detection. Additionally, the optical reading system enables the processing of laminated glass by accurately read the position from the same side after the glass has been processed and flipped over, ensuring maximum precision.

Safe by design

Incorporating preventative safety measures, this machine offers a dedicated safety zone protected by photocells and mirror system, safeguarding operators while maintaining unobstructed access from all sides. This solution facilitates ergonomic execution of daily tasks in the proximity of the machine.
