Pesaro, May 25, 2026 – Biesse today welcomed a group of Computer Engineering students from the Marche Polytechnic University, as part of activities related to the “Hack-AI-thon”, a university competition dedicated to artificial intelligence applied to business.
The initiative, organized by the Marche Polytechnic University together with the Lions Club “Maurizio Pantì” Higher School and the Lions Club of Ancona, with the support of Confindustria, involved students from the Departments of Information Engineering, Management, and Economic and Social Sciences.
During the hackathon, student teams developed AI-based projects and applications, addressing real cases and industrial innovation topics. In this context, Biesse participated as a partner company, a member of the evaluation jury, and sponsor of the award dedicated to the “Scalability of the business idea.”
The company visit represents a natural continuation of the path started during the competition and aims to bring students with skills in artificial intelligence closer to local industries, fostering dialogue between academia and businesses.
During the day, participants had the opportunity to learn more about Biesse through company presentations, visits to the Biesse Material Hub, and in-depth sessions on Biesse’s digital ecosystem, as well as the Human Machine Interface, which simplifies and makes human-machine interaction more intuitive.
