1969
Biesse was founded in Pesaro, Italy, to design, manufacture and distribute machines for processing wood
1983
Biesse launches Rover on the market: the first numerical control machining centre for wood
1987
The business sector dedicated to producing machines for glass and stone processing is born
1989
With the opening of the first branch in the United States, the process of internationalisation begins
1991
HSD is founded, the business unit established to design, manufacture and distribute electromechanical components
2001
Biesse is listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, in the STAR segment
2008
Opening of the first production plant outside Italy, in India
2017
Biesse develops its own IIOT platform, rendering its technologies 4.0 ready. The companies Movetro and Montresor become part of Biesse.
2018
Biesse publishes its first sustainability report.
2020
Launch of the “One Company” project: a new organisation, a new brand and new product architecture, with the rationalisation of the Group’s manufacturing hubs
2021
The company Forvet Costruzione Macchine Speciali S.p.A., becomes part of Biesse, a manufacturer of special automated machines for glass processing
2022
The evolution of the company is manifested through a new visual identity
2023
The group GMM becomes part of Biesse, which includes the companies GMM S.p.A., Bavelloni S.p.A. and Techni Waterjet Ltd., manufacturing machine tools for processing stone, glass and other materials
