Biesse announces the acquisition of
Orchestra Srl, an Italian software company specializing in the
development of digital solutions for manufacturing processes.
Orchestra develops platforms and applications that enable the
interconnection of industrial machinery, real-time production
monitoring, and the optimization of operational workflows across
manufacturing environments.
The acquisition marks a significant milestone in Biesse’s evolution as
a global manufacturer of machinery, lines and components for
processing a wide range of materials, while further strengthening the
Group’s digital ecosystem. The transaction is fully aligned with
Biesse’s strategic vision of supporting customers in optimizing
industrial processes, increasing machine value, and simplifying
production operations.
The high level of automation enables native connectivity with
machines, including equipment from different manufacturers,
allowing production data to be collected, centralized and
transformed into actionable insights that enhance customer
performance.
The new solutions make it possible to implement advanced
Manufacturing Execution System (MES) capabilities that
automatically optimize production based on incoming orders,
improving machine utilization while reducing operating time and
costs.
The result is a comprehensive digital ecosystem spanning machine
connectivity and data acquisition through production management
and control, integrating advanced scheduling and dynamic
optimization capabilities. This creates a unified digital environment capable of coordinating machines, processes and resources, even
across multi-brand production facilities.
